Parliament Quilt Pattern

This project features Canada's beautiful centre block of Parliament. The quilt pattern walks you through a number of quilting techniques including "stitch and flip" piecing, fusible web appliqué and machine free motion and walking foot quilting. Have fun selecting a range of fabric to give the maple leaves a scrappy look and a realistic texture to the stone of the Parliament Building. Subtle, muted tones should be chosen for the leaf and tree fabrics so that the focus remains on the Parliament Buildings.
